4 Months: Our Little Chatter Box!
Sorry for the delay, folks! Apparently parenthood is a busy time and although Jeremy and I are enjoying every minute of it with our adorable girl, we're still learning how to keep up with all the new activities, like blogging.
Elaine is now 4 months old. I can't believe it! I know its part of nature for babies to grow. But its just amazing to me to see a human being get rounder, bigger, longer, and more adorable! She had her 4 month check up 2 days ago and she is keeping steady with her growth stats. Now almost 13 pounds and 24 inches long, she is in about the 25% for height and weight (that means she's on the smaller side). But her head is in the 75%! Smart girl!
As for fun milestones, she is doing a lot more with her hands lately, mostly sucking on them. But she's able to accurately grab and play with objects in front of her for short periods, like pulling on her zoo animals from her bouncy chair. She's also babbling up a storm! Coos, sighs, growling, and even some consonants! LOVE!
Tell it, Sister!
She continues to be a source of entertainment for Daddy, her primary puppeteer. She is a very good sport and even seems to enjoy the various songs, dances, and other talent-show type collaborations with her big goofball of a father.
